The General Assembly consists of the members of the organisation. It constitutes the supreme power of the organisation. Its powers are regulated in Article 21 of the statutes. Its operation is described in articles 20 to 30 of the articles of association.
The organisation is managed by a Management Body, consisting of at least 5 persons and no more than 11 persons, divided among the four categories of members. Everything that is not reserved to the General Assembly by law or the articles of association belongs to the competence of the Management Body. Its operation is described in Articles 12 to 19 of the Articles of Association.
The powers of the Executive Committee, provided for in point 5 of the NBN EN ISO/IEC 17065 standard, are ensured by the Management Body. The Management Body elects from among the managers a president and, if necessary, a vice-president, in charge of the day-to-day management of the organisation. They are accountable to the Management Body. The Chairman proposes to the Management Body that it seek the advice of experts in specific fields, according to the order of the day.

The Certification Committee consists of five members of the Management Body, at least four of whom represent public and private building owners; it is chaired by the Chairman of the Management Body.
